Admission is by application, reviewed on a rolling basis.
One application covers the whole program. A person reads it, a founder decides, and nothing is charged unless a company selects you.
- 01
Apply
One application to the program, not to a single job, and it is free. A resume, a 60-second video, and your ranked interests across the listings you want.
- 02
We screen
BlueRobins reads every application and watches every video. Accepted applicants become eligible for matching to a listing.
- 03
We shortlist
A short, hand-picked slate goes in front of the founder for each role, so a company reviews people, not a queue.
- 04
The company selects
The company reviews resume, video, and screening notes, then makes the hiring decision. The selection is theirs, not BlueRobins's.
- 05
You pay
Once a company selects you, the program fee unlocks the introduction and the placement support built around it.
- 06
You start
Contact details unlock for both sides, the offer letter is issued, and the internship begins, with a midpoint and a final check-in from BlueRobins.
What it costs

Applying is free. The program fee is charged once, only after a company selects you, and is waived for BlueRobins students and mentors.
See what the fee includesThe program fee pays for First Orbit program support and the release of a placement a company has already offered — it does not guarantee a placement or any other outcome, and every selection decision is made by the company, not by BlueRobins.
